Since its inception in 2009, Manhattan Camerata has become one of the world’s most versatile, flexible, and stylistically diverse ensembles, equally adept at Tango and Fado, Medieval music, Rock arrangements, as well as Film scores and original contemporary compositions. Performances unconventionally meld the western classical chamber orchestra with world instruments (Portuguese guitar, bandoneón, sitar, darbuka, to name a few) – often presented in new works.
