Tango Project @ The Beehive
May 2 @ 8:00 pm – 11:45 pm

The Tango Project creates a bridge between the rich Tango repertoire and jazz improvisation and harmony.

Argentine bassist/composer Fernando Huergo is a master musician appearing on over 100 recordings with great artists of all genres. The Tango Project is close to his Argentinian heart. Playing with powerful “cross genre” musicians Yulia Musayelyan, Maxim Lubarsky, and Bertram Lehmann, Fernando and co. infuse Tango with urgency and jazz interaction that creates a joyful intensity.
